Why should you choose to come to Powerboat Training UK for your 3 day HSE First Aid at Work course?
- Passionate and knowledgable instructors – Our instructors have a real passion for teaching first aid courses and this shines through over the duration of the course. They have real work hand on experience of dealing with the sort of issues that the course covers. The difference that this makes to the value that you derive from the course can be significant.
- Health and safety – When on one of our courses each student is allocated their own ‘Resus Annie’ for the duration of the course. So why does this make a difference? We ensure that the training lungs fitted to your ‘Annie’ are brand new for each course so its only you that gets to breath into these lungs. Sharing between students strikes us as pretty yucky!
- Equipment – All of our Resus Annies are fitted with the latest electronics to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of of your CPR and rescue breaths. This really helps to improve the effectiveness of what you are doing.
- Training environment – Our classrooms are based in busy marinas which makes for a slightly different and fun experience. There is free on site parking.
- Marine experience – Clearly as a company we are instructing people how to drive all types of boats, jetskis and other watercraft. The specialist aspects of water related first aid such as hypothermia, secondary drowning, casualty recovery when they have been in the water a while are all areas that we teach on our marine First Aid courses. Given that if you are attending a course in Poole or Southampton you will be in and around water we’ve added a short marine module to our courses so that you have these additional critical skills.
