If you want to boat abroad then usually you will need to have an International Certificate of Competence – ‘ICC’.

The ICC can be obtained by either by undertaking a suitable RYA course or through an ‘ICC Test’ Firstly though decide what ‘size’ of ICC you need – ‘up to 24m’ or ‘up to 10m’ and select the option below to read more information.

Powerboat Level 2 – on our boats

Duration: 2 Days

This is the most popular course that we teach. Suits those new to boating who want to develop the base skills but also those who have boated for a while but who want to ensure they are approaching their boating the right way. There is no requirement for Level 1 to do this course.

Dayskipper Practical – on our boats

Duration: 4 days

A great course that suits both those starting out motorboating or those have been at it a while. Lasting 4 days the course focusses on developing your ability to confidently handle the vessel whilst also spending time on navigation and  making a short coastal passage.

CEVNI – Online

Duration: At your pace

The CEVNI test is essential for anyone looking to use the inland waterways of Europe. Undertaking the course online is a great way to study the course and then do the test.
