A chartplotter and a radar are some of the most common bits of kit to buy for a boat yet how to make effective use of it in an area like Poole Harbour and when on passage is often misunderstood. This session looks at how to use the plotter and radar using our great new simulator linked to raymarine chartplotters, what great features that you can make use of and what things to be careful of.

This will be a thought provoking and beneficial session for all who are planning on going further afield this year.

    There are generally up to 8 people on these sessions.

Prior experience

None!

Minimum Age

8 – We are happy for a child over 8 to attend a course with their parent/guardian.

These sessions are run by us for free for the Berthholders association. Whilst free we’d like you to make a donation of £5 per session AND per person to RNLI Poole Lifeboat Station.
