Our craft
We own and run a variety of well well specified high quality craft. We ensure
they carry all of the relevant safety kit, have suitable electronics on board
and are kept in really good condition.
Whilst most of the craft are used exclusively for training vessels such as
Harrier, Top Hat and the Logics are available for Charter/Hire.

Ribcraft
7.8m ~ 'Harrier' Harrier joined us late in 2007 to replace Bibs our
7.5m Scorpion. Coded to Cat 3 for commercial work Harrier is licenced to
carry up to 10 passengers up to 20 miles from a safe haven.
Harrier is used on most Level 2 courses and almost all Advanced,
Intermediate and Instructor courses.
Harrier is powered by a 225Hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboard. Visit the

Avon 5.6m ~ 'Nova' Nova is our real workhorse and is a truly great boat.
Powered by a 90Hp 4 stroke Mariner outboard Nova is used on almost all of the courses

Ribcraft
5.85m ~ 'Bumblebee' Bumblebee was added to the fleet in 2006 and is a
great boat too. Powered by a 150Hp Yamaha 4 stroke she is extremely well
equipped with a top of the range Icom radio and Garmin chartplotters.

Ribcraft
4.8m ~ 'Jumbo' Jumbo joined us in the summer of 2007 and is identical
to the Ribcraft's used in the Honda youth RIB Challenge. We use it either as
a 3rd/4th boat on courses (generally limited to 2 students) or on children's
courses. It is easy to underestimate a RIB of this size but the 4.8m is a
hugely capable boat and we've taken it out in some really rough seas. Indeed
in 2004 3 of these RIBs went round Britain in 10 days. More info

Logic
Marine 170CC ~ 'Purple Pelican Hire Boats' Occasionally we need extra
boats for training and our fleet of Logics are a great alternative to the
RIBs. We tend to use them only for children's courses and instructors
courses - where the way they can be a bit of a handful in the wind
keeps the potential instructors on their toes!!

Botnia
Targa ~ 'Top Hat' Another awesome boat! Top Hat is a Botnia Targa 30
fitted with twin Volvo KAD 44s pushing out 260Hp per engine. With onboard
EDC controls ('fly by wire') it is a joy to handle. Targa's have a great
reputation, are Finnish and are widely used around the world as Police and

Craft used on Personal Watercraft courses

Yamaha
Waverunner Our Personal Watercraft has been with us for a couple of
years and is a great bike. Capable of a good turn of speed but more
importantly, from a training perspective, it is a stable and forgiving bike
and creates a great platform for training.
