Shorebased courses

RYA Shorebased courses exist to help you develop your knowledge across a variety of areas and in the case of courses like the VHF course lead to internationally recognised qualifications that are essential for the legal use of marine VHF radio equipment.

2011 sees the relaunch of the RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship Course (Formerly called the RYA Basic Navigation and Safety Course). This course is a great addition to the stable of courses and suits powerboaters and motorboaters keen to develop their navigation skills if they are unable to invest  5 days in the Dayskipper course.

The BIG NEWS about this course though is that it is now available online through us. This gives you a great opportunity after a practical course to follow this up with an online course. See here for more information.

Call/email to discuss the courses in more detail.
