We schedule children's courses for the easter and summer holidays. According to demand we also schedule them on other weekends.

We are recognised by the RYA as a Children's training centre for powerboating meaning that we have suitable boats and child protection procedures for teaching children aged 8 upwards away from parents. The courses run are:

Age 8+: Powerboat Level 1 - info here

Age 12+: Powerboat Level 2 - info here or Powerboat Level 1 - info here

As parents with young children we understand how to work with children and ensure that they have a fun time when with us but with a total focus on safety. We have a full Child Protection Policy (copy available - just ask) and Viv Glatzel acts as our Child Protection Coordinator.

In terms of boats we have a variety of boats available for children's courses. For larger kids the 7.9m Ribcraft and 5.6m Avon tend to feature on courses whereas for our smaller participants Jumbo our 4.8 Ribcraft (as used in the RYA Honda Youth RIB Challenge) or our 17ft Logic Marine powerboats are great.
